Shanghai R&D Center, China

Shanghai R&D Center in China was founded as a Chinese branch institute of Korea R&D Headquarter in October 2008; its name was changed to Shanghai R&D Center in 2010. The Center plays a role of R&D Headquarter in China and a professional research institute for low voltage power devices and inverters.
Shanghai R&D Center, especially, contributes to activate Chinese business by employing excellent native researchers in China. Therefore, it develops low-cost products for the world low-end markets and proper products for Chinese market at the right time.
In addition, the Center constructs a technological network and performs a joint R&D through strategic coalition with colleges, expert research institutes, and other related enterprises for the technologies in particular fields which gained the competitive advantage in the world.
