Electro-technology R&D Center, Cheongju

Electrotechnology R&D Center was founded as a form of company-affiliated research institute in November 1992. The Center is continuously striving to become the world best R&D institute in the field of electric power industry. In addition, the Center undertakes research and development for maximizing energy efficiency and creating pleasant and productive environment of the industrial society, by combining the rapidly growing computer and IT technologies with electrical and mechanical technologies.
In Particular, Electrotechnology R&D Center has three missions: breaking through current technical limits, developing next-generation products in the mid and long term, and researching in the seed technology. To accomplish such missions, the Center not only takes an active part in local/international conferences and researching groups, but constructs a network and performs joint research by cooperating strategically with colleges, professional research institutes, and other related enterprises in the world.
