Automation R&D Center, Anyang & Cheonan

Automation R&D Center, as a pivotal research institute of LSIS, has developed a PLC and inverter for the first time in Korea, and cultivated domestic automation business. The Center is focusing on developing new innovative next-generation products and research and development of core technologies in a green technology field, such as cutting edge automation equipment for industrial use, a photovoltaic PCU, a power control unit for an electric vehicle (EV PCU), and railway control.
The Center is establishing the world-class capability by concentrating its research and development forces on the automation field extending toward the world. To develop supreme products, the Center is carrying out R&D activities in three directions: “securing the core technologies”, “business-adhered R&D”, and “creating basis of green businesses”.
