Convergence Technology R&D Center
Convergence Technology R&D Center, as a head brain of LSIS, focuses on gaining a competitive advantage by developing a next-generation platform and also focuses on developing differentiated technologies of cutting edge new business, in order to grow Smart Grid which is a core of ‘Low Carbon, Green Growth’. The Center strives to perform R&D to cope with energy crisis and climate change by Smart Grid, and also strives to construct a green society by establishing a stable and efficient supply/demand basis of high quality electric power.
To activate a green business, the Convergence Technology R&D Center especially promotes to invigorate green business by building an open R&D and strategic partnerships with local and international expert research institutes, in order to procure core technologies in various fields and a state-of-the-art new business of Smart Grid. And the Center participates actively in activities of standard organization in order to preoccupy the domestic and international relevant standards.
